Following the screening of the film ‘Tingbjerg: The Copenhagen Experiment’, Agata Woźniczka, an architect and urban planner, will present a subjective selection of housing estates that have the potential to fulfil all our dreams of the ideal place to live.

Through her travels around the world and her work on projects in a wide variety of settings, Agata Woźniczka has gathered examples of both better and worse solutions. She examines both small-scale and large-scale architecture. She seeks answers to the question of what makes a space conducive to building a neighbourhood community, has a positive impact on health, provides a sense of security and allows people to relax. The sustainability and quality of a space where one simply feels at ease are also important to her.

As BudCud, she had the opportunity to work on a prototype of a city that supports diversity and development. The project is showcased in the exhibition ‘Models of Community’, which is currently on display at the Gdańsk Centre for Contemporary Art.

During the meeting, we will therefore look not only at what well-designed housing estates might look like, but also at the conditions a space should meet to ensure a good quality of life.
