During the 14th edition of MIASTOmovie, we invite you to a special event at the Museum of Architecture in Wrocław. As part of the Architecture Academy, together with representatives from the informal group ‘Księże w pełni’, we will discuss how to: fulfil wishes concerning Wrocław, one’s own local area or neighbourhood; get involved in city life; and secure the funds and support needed to implement spatial, social and educational initiatives.

The Academy of Architecture is an educational programme for adults organised by the Museum of Architecture in Wrocław. Through lectures, workshops and walking tours, participants learn about the history of architecture – from the Middle Ages to the present day. They also learn to explore the urban environment independently and get involved in city life. The October event as part of MIASTOmovie forms part of this programme. So if you have an idea for an initiative in the city but don’t know where to start or how to bring it to life – come along!

The ‘Academy of Architecture’ educational programme for adults was established as part of the celebrations marking the 60th anniversary of the Museum of Architecture in Wrocław. It is co-funded by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, drawing on the Culture Promotion Fund – a state-funded special-purpose fund.
